Model M1-818 Laser System was developed over many years experience as a general purpose laser machine specifically to laser scribe and drill 96% purity ceramic of thickness 0.5 -1.5mm with drilling diameter of 0.1 -0.4mm and to a resolution of plus/minus 10 microns.

Substrate area is up to 12” x 12” . Also capable of drilling round (or other shaped) holes. Laser cutting edge (kerf) is 150um minimum. X/Y stage is equipped with dc servo motors and linear optical encoders.

Computer controlled X/Y motion control system. X/Y stage uses precision ground leadscrews, dc servo motors, optical encoders and integral limits. Using preprogrammed files the operator can quickly and easily load and run a specified job. The system is very versatile and allows user programming and operation.
